Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane to host National Spatial Development Framework Indaba in Gallagher Estate, Gauteng Province

The Minister of Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will on 12th April 2019 host National Spatial Development framework Indaba at Gallagher Estate, Halfway House, Midrand, Gauteng Province. The Indaba is conducted in partnership with the Ministry of the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.

The Indaba seek to raise awareness regarding the National Spatial Development Framework (NSDF) as a transformative tool to deal with the triple challenge of poverty, unemployment and inequality by bringing key stakeholders from the various sectors of society together to share knowledge and exchange learning.

The Indaba will also seek to give the department opportunity to update stakeholders on the NSDF progress and share work done with regards to the development of the NSDF further broader consultation process required in terms of the Act, to solicit inputs from leaders within three layers of government (National, provincial, Municipalities),Traditional leaders, CBO’s, NGOs and the private sector.
