Release of the May 2019 Financial Stability Review on Wednesday, 29 May 2019
The May 2019 Financial Stability Review will be released on Wednesday, 29 May 2019. A media lock-up will take place from 16:00 to 17:30 and the Financial Stability Forum will follow at 18:00. Technical experts will be available to answer questions from the media at 17:00 to 17:30. If you wish to attend please register via media@resbank.co.za.

The Financial Stability Review provides an overview of potential risks to financial stability in the local economy. In pursuit of this objective and to promote a stable financial system, the SARB published a Financial Stability Review twice a year. Financial stability is an important precondition for sustainable economic growth, development and employment creation.
