DESTEA to engage with its clients
The main focus and mandate of the Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA) is to champion economic activities in the Free State in order to ensure that the government programmes make a difference in the lives of people.
To uphold a healthy working relationship with its stakeholders and measure impact of the department’s programmes, the department is hosting a DESTEA Service Delivery Day where clients/beneficiaries supported by the department will engage the department about their enterprises.
The focus of this session is to establish from the clients or beneficiaries of the department, how the support has enhanced their enterprises sustainability and / or livelihoods.
Support given to clients is categorised as follows; Enterprise Development and Support Incentive; Risk-Sharing Incentive; Tabalaza Pitching Programme; Agro Processing and Incubator Support among others.
