Deputy Minister Thembi Siweya engages Limpopo youth on promoting access to information, 28 Feb

“Young people must be given information that they can utilise to empower themselves to move ahead with their own lives and acquire skills, knowledge and experience,” words once said by President, Cyril Ramaphosa.

In echoing the sentiments of the president, Brand South Africa and the Honourable Deputy Minister in the presidency, Ms Thembi Siweya are heading to Malamulele, Limpopo on Friday 28 February 2020 to promote access to information among the youth.

This opportunity presents Brand South Africa a chance to promote constitutional awareness, pride and patriotism among South Africans to contribute to social cohesion and nation brand ambassadorship.

The activation is a collaboration of various entities in Limpopo and will see young people in the community engaged on the initiatives that provide opportunities for young people to become entrepreneurs and be innovative in the current phase of digitalisation. It is important to advocate for Access to information, as it is only when the youth is privy to the opportunities that exist that they can contribute to the economy”, said Brand South Africa’s General Manager Communications, Ms Thoko Modise.

“We look forward to conversing with young people to inspire affinity to the constitution.”
