The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule and Northern Cape MEC for Education, Mr Zolile Monakali will from Tomorrow, Tuesday 22 September 2020 visit schools across the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) District in the Northern Cape.
The oversight visits come as the nation and the sector move to Alert level 1 restrictions, and welcome back Teachers who were previously granted concessions from returning to the classroom. This two-day visit by the Deputy Minister will provide an opportunity to provide support to the schools and conduct monitoring of efforts put in place to ensure that the risk of infection is minimized and health conditions are improved.
The schools are located within the Kuruman and Kathu areas of the Northern Cape.
