The Deputy Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Nkosi Phathekile Holomisa, will on Thursday, 14 October 2021, handover school uniform made possible by a donation from Old Mutual to indigent learners in Mqanduli, Eastern Cape.
Following a request from Mqanduli Community Advice Office, Office of Holomisa approached Old Mutual and the company responded affirmatively to the call for assistance.
Old Mutual donated R80 000 towards the purchase of school uniform that will benefit 190 learners from disadvantaged families. Identified from 19 basic education level schools located in the King Sabatha Dalindyebo Local Municipality, each learner will get a pair of shoes as well as full uniform apparel.
