The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation to host a career exhibition expo in Thabazimbi, Limpopo
The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela, will host a Career Exhibition Expo at Waterberg TVET College in Thabazimbi on the 18 June 2022.
The Waterberg Careers Exhibition Expo is an initiative of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science & Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela. The expo is aimed at exposing young people from the various schools, PSET institutions and the unemployed youth of the Waterberg District, to available opportunities within the various sectors of our economy, especially those present within the Waterberg area.
The main activities of the Waterberg Careers Exhibition will include career guidance, motivational speaking, information dissemination by the Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), exhibitions by business organisations, peer motivation, etc.
Learners from the 8 high schools from the surrounding areas of the Waterberg District will be given preference to attend the Exhibition, including the students from both Waterberg TVET and Lephalale TVET colleges.
