Deputy Minister Mahlalela to embark on a four (4) day visit to ZF Mcgawu District, Northern Cape Province
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Fish Mahlalela will visit ZF Magcawu District as part of President's deployment of Ministers and Deputy Ministers as District Champions of the District Development Model.
Deputy Minister Mahlalela is deployed at ZF Mgcawu District to work with the both provincial and local government leaders to improve intergovernmental co-operation and alignment at the coalface of service delivery and rapid response. The Model seeks to pursue development through single, integrated plans per district that outline the role of all spheres of government, communities, business and civil society.
Deputy Minister Mahlalela will embark on an extensive 4 day programme that starts on the 21st September and end on the 24th September 2020 as follows:

Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr. Fish Mahlalela, and the executives of the Z. F. MGCAWU district in the Northern Cape will host a Special Broadcast (Imbizo) on Radio Riverside to engage with the stakeholders and the community on Gender Based Violence, Femicide, and ways to advance tourism through government’s coordinated District Development Service Delivery Model.
The Imbizo will be broadcast through Radio Riverside on 23 September 2020, with a live link to all the Community Radio stations in the Northern Cape Province. Community members are encouraged to engage with officials as follows:
