Deputy Minister Elizabeth Thabethe to engage with Mabopane community on tourism
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ms Elizabeth Thabethe, will host an Imbizo in Pretoria to engage with the community in Mabopane on tourism opportunities.
The event will take place during the National Imbizo Focus Week themed a Fortnight of Activism, and will seek to encourage the community to participate in government programmes and initiatives in an effort to build inclusive and socially cohesive societies.
In addition to highlighting the opportunities for women and the youth in tourism, the Imbizo will rally the community to take a firm stand against Gender-Based Violence and crime.
