Transport Deputy Minister to intensify road safety campaign in Limpopo

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Mme Dikeledi Magadzi MP, will lead a high impact road safety awareness and education campaign at Kgapane High School in Ga-Kgapane, Limpopo province.

Her visit to Ga-Kgapane comes in the wake of a horrible accident that took place in Ga-Maphalle on June 16 this year where more than 20 young people died.

Some of the youngsters who died come from Ga-Rapitsi and Ga-Kgapane.

Deputy Minister Magadzi will be educating and creating road safety awareness for the leaners and community members (parents of learners) in order to promote good road user behaviour among learners and members of the community.

The Deputy Minister’s road safety activation will be preceded by law enforcement operations.

Members of the media are invited to join the Deputy Minister during this interactive road safety activation.

1. Law enforcement operation
