Department of Water and Sanitation in KwaZulu-Natal to host media tour at Spring Grove Dam and Cragieburn Dam on 30 September 2020
The Department of Water and Sanitation in KwaZulu-Natal (DWS KZN) would like to invite members of the media to a media tour to Spring Grove Dam and Cragieburn Dam on Wednesday 30 September 2020.
The purpose of the media tour is to give members of the media an opportunity to become familiar with the dams and the water projects that are within the province. Spring Grove dam links with the completed Mpofana water scheme and the Cragieburn Dam links with the completed Greytown water scheme.
South African is celebrating Heritage Month in September, during this time, the DWS would like to use this opportunity to showcase and remind South Africans of the importance of South African dams as well as the water projects.
The media tour will also be creating a platform for constructive dialogue and engagements between department and members of the media about service delivery on water and sanitation issues.
Members of the media are invited to attend as follows:

- Venue: Spring Grove Dam in Nottingham Road, MOOI RIVER
Transport for the media will be provided and pick-up point will be at:
