Public Works Thulas Nxesi meets with contractors to discuss department’s payment processes
The Minister of Public Works cordially invites you to the contractor engagement meeting wherein he will discuss challenges pertaining to the 30 day payment of invoices by the department. Some of the challenges that he will address with contractors include: Delayed payments; processes that the department uses in facilitating payment of invoices.
Other challenges involve fraudulent and incomplete documents that are submitted by the contractors in an effort to get payment from the department. This meeting forms part of Minister’s regional visits to all regions in the country where he seeks to address all issues pertaining to non – delayed payment of invoices in time to the contractors.
We are therefore inviting the media to be part of this public engagement with the minister and the contractors in an effort to resolve their challenges.
