Deadline to submit comments on the GBV and Femicide Draft National Strategic Framework extended to 18 September
The Interim Committee on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) would like to advise all stakeholders and members of the public that the deadline to submit comments on the Draft National Strategic Framework on GBV and Femicide has been extended to the 18th September 2019. .
Members of the public wishing to view and comment on the Draft National Strategic Framework (NSP) are requested to do so by filling the comment form accessed through the following link: Form for inputs on GBVF NSP.

In August 2019, the Committee held a series of Stakeholder Consultations on the Draft NSP across the country. The consultations end on Friday, 13 September 2019 in Welkom (Free State) and Taung (North West).
The Interim Steering Committee was formed as per article 3 of the Declaration, with the mandate to draft a National Strategic Plan Framework and establish a Multi – Sector GBVF Council, which will be the Coordinating body that will champion the GBVF campaign.
