Correctional Services to launch the training Manual for Nelson Mandela Rules at Kgosi Mampuru Ii Correctional Hall
The Department of Correctional Services will on Monday, 22 July 2019 launch the training manual on the Nelson Mandela Rules at Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Hall.
The training manual will form part of the Nelson Mandela International Day which is celebrated annually on 18th July. The rules are aimed at promoting humane conditions of incarceration, raise awareness about inmates being part of society and to value the work done by correctional officials in rehabilitating offenders.
