China and South Africa to host new media roundtable discussion
On Friday, 23 November 2018, The Department of Communications (DoC) and the Bureau of International Cooperation of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) will jointly host a China-South Africa New Media Roundtable Discussion.
The purpose of the roundtable discussion is to strengthen relations between South Africa and China both at governmental and business levels by sharing information and lessons on the growth of the information and communications technologies and other related industries.
The China delegation will be led by Vice-Minister Gao Xiang from the Bureau of International Cooperation of the CAC. The DoC will be represented by the Acting Director-General, Dr Mashilo Boloka.
Details of The Roundtable Discussion, which will be open to the media, will be held as follows:
Venue: Diep in die Berg, 929 Disselboom Avenue, Wapadrand, Pretoria.
