The World Choir Games official opening ceremony at The Sun Arena, Time Square
The Department of Arts and Culture invites members of the media to the Opening Ceremony of the World Choir Games that will take place at the Sun Arena, Time Square on the 4th of July 2018 at 19h30. The World Choir Games will be on from 4 -14 July 2018 at Sun Arena, Time Square in Menlyn, Pretoria.
The City of Tshwane will reverberate with the sweet melodies of more than 300 choirs who will participate in the World Choir Games, also known as “Olympic Games of Choral Music” organised by INTERKULTUR. The World Choir Games takes place under theme, “Various Voices- One Harmony. The competition is divided into two categories, namely “The Champions Competition” and The Open Competition”.
The main objective is to show that unity of nations through the arts is possible.
