Release of the annual crime statistics
The South African Police Service will on Thursday, 12 September 2019, brief the Portfolio Committee on Police (PCOP) on the 2018/19 annual crime statistics.
Police Minister, General Bheki Cele thereafter will brief the nation on the crime picture for the period of 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
The Minister will be joined by Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale and South African Police Service National Commissioner, General Khehla John Sitole and senior management of the SAPS.
Members of the media are invited to attend the event.
