Judgement: MM Mlengana/Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) notes the High Court judgment in the matter of the Director General, Mr MM Mlengana.
The High Court has decided Mr Mlengana’s application in relation to his suspension in his favour.
The Minister is currently studying the judgement and in consultation with the Minister of Public Service and Administration and the President of the Republic, will determine what is in the best interest of the Department.
The Minister is entitled, if he so wishes, to appeal the judgement. That decision can only be made in a few days’ time.
