As of 1pm on 19 March, the Western Cape has 2427 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 278 338 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 264 512 recoveries.
A total of 30 508 out of the 31 260 vaccines received to date as part of the Sisonke trial, had been administered by 5pm on 18 March.
