16th Annual CPSI Public Sector Innovation Awards Ceremony
The Deputy Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Dr Chana Pilane-Majake, MP invites members of the media to the 16th Annual Public Sector Innovation Awards Ceremony to be held the 02nd of November 2018 at the Velmore Hotel and Spa, Erasmia, Pretoria, Gauteng Province.
The CPSI is an institution within the Portfolio of the Ministry for the Public Service and Administration, which is tasked with the entrenching the culture and practice of innovation in the public service.
The Annual Public Sector Innovation Awards Ceremony, now in its 16th year, marks the apex of a year-long programme aimed at unearthing service delivery innovations.
Public sector innovations will be recognised under the following categories:
- Innovative Solutions Reducing the Cost of Delivering Services
- Innovative use of ICTs for Effective Service Delivery
- Innovative Service Delivery Institutions
- Innovative Enhancements of Internal Systems of Government
The category winners will then compete for the coveted Public Sector Innovator of the Year Award.
As part of the ceremony, Special Ministerial Awards will be conferred to deserving projects and/or innovators. The Deputy Minister will also recognise Public Sector Innovation Trailblazers for their contribution through in-house development of software solutions in the public sector.
