President Zuma to attend the official renaming of the Bloemfontein Airport and unveiling of the Nelson Mandela Statue in Bloemfontein

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 13 December 2012, officially rename the Bloemfontein International Airport to the Bram Fischer International Airport. On the same day, the President will also unveil the Nelson Mandela statue in Bloemfontein.

These events form part of the Government’s programme, led by the Department of Arts and Culture, to honour the heroes and heroines of our struggle for liberation, of promoting social cohesion, forging a common identity and common values for all South Africans.
