Ms Nomatyala Hangana, the National Convener of 16 Days of Activism for No
Violence Against Women and Children Campaign, will light the "Torch of Peace"
as part of the 16 days campaign.
The "Torch of Peace" forms a link between the 16 Days of Activism Campaign
and other major national campaigns that support the thematic programmes that
underpin Government's national outreach activities.
The event will take place at the Union Buildings on Thursday, 16 November
2006, at 13h30, at the Women's Monument.
