Ministry to table final presentation on best practices relating to info bill

The Ministry of State Security will tomorrow, Tuesday, 29 March 2011, table the final part of the presentation dealing with best practices relating to the Protection of Information Bill.

At the last seating of the committee, the Ministry tabled a two part presentation dealing with the manner in which democratic countries manage the question of the limitation of the right to access to information, through general laws of application.

Tomorrow’s presentation is expected to highlight, amongst others, how countries such as the United States, Croatia, United Kingdom and some African countries deal with the protection and classification of information.
