Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Jeff Radebe to open a court as part of the activities to celebrate the human rights month

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Jeff Radebe, will officially open a new Magistrate's Court at Tsakane in Springs on Friday, 8 March 2013, at 9h00. This is part of commemorating Human Rights Month and an endeavour to bring Justice Service closer to the people. Since 1960, the Tsakane community members had to travel 17km to access justice services in Brakpan.

During the event, Minister Radebe will sign contracts with civil society organisations that are grantees of the Access to Justice and Promotion of Constitutional Rights Programme. Immediately after the opening of the court, the Minister will interact with members of the community on justice services and general human rights issues.
