Members of the media are invited to attend the media launch of the commencement of the public participation process for the designation of the Saldanha Bay Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) that will be addressed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies:

The Department of Trade and Industry is currently considering an application for the designation of an Industrial Development Zone at Saldanha Bay as proposed by the Saldanha Bay Industrial Development Zone Licensing Company (SBIDZ LiCo), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Western Cape Investment Promotion Agency (WESGRO), which will be gazetted for public opinion.
Transport will be provided for journalists from Cape Town to Saldanha Bay.
