How do I have my foreign qualifications evaluated?

If you have a foreign qualification but want  to apply for work or study in South Africa, the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) will evaluate the qualifications. This is a condition if you want to apply for a work or study permit. SAQA verifies the qualifications and compares them with South African qualifications to locate them within the South African National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The application can be submitted using the online verification service.

More information about the process is available under the Services section of this website in all official languages.
