Job creation is a government priority. In 2011 it was announced that all government departments will align their programmes with the job creation imperative.
Government has since embarked on several initiatives to support job creation, including the employment tax initiative and the jobs fund. More information on these initiatives can be found under Key issues on the page for Creating decent jobs.
