Youth Month: DSD “Express Yourself Youth Canvas” to be launched by Minister Fritz
Tomorrow, as part of our Youth Month commemorations, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz will officially launch the Department of Social Development's “Express Yourself Youth Canvas”.
The Youth Canvas is a large art canvas 2 meters in height and 5 meters wide.
It will be placed in spaces young people frequent, such as malls, colleges and universities and other public spaces. The public, especially youth, will be encouraged to paint, draw, write and pin photos on it, as an act of expression.
The Minister will be joined at the launch by youth organizations working with us to render various services and operate our innovative Youth Cafés.
There will be an opportunity photographs and interviews.
