Chief Land Claims Commissioner to handover R65 million compensation as settlement to Vernon Crooks Community
The Chief Land Claims Commissioner invites members of the media to the official handover of financial compensation vouchers to beneficiaries from Vernon Croocks community.
The land claim was lodged by the victims of land dispossession who were residents in the Vernon Crooks area and has recently been approved. The approval of this claim will result in the payment of financial compensation to the value of R 65 680 624 for the benefit of 296 verified households.
