The Minister of Transport, Mr Joe Maswanganyi, will deliver keynote address during the re-launch of the University of Venda (Univen) Polokwane Alumni Chapter on Saturday, 24 June 2017 in Polokwane.
The re-launch is held under the theme: “The role of alumni in economic sustainability of institutions of higher learning”.
The occasion is organised by the University of Venda in conjunction with the Univen Polokwane alumni.
The purpose of the event is for the alumni to engage and assist the alma matter to successfully drive its core business of teaching and learning, research and community engagement.
The Minister who is also alumni of the University will be joined by amongst others the Vice Chancellor of the University of Venda, Prof. Peter Mbati and other alumni of the University.
