Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Planning Monitoring and Evaluation and Youth Development, Mr Buti Manamela will host learners. The occasion is aimed at educating the learners about the She conquers campaign.
The campaign was launched in June by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is chair of the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC).
She Conquers is a National HIV/Aids Prevention Campaign aimed at young women adolescent girls. It seeks to decrease new HIV/ infections in girls, keep girls in school until matric and increase economic opportunities for young women among others.
Learners from the Bhuko Bami Youth Centre in Soweto will be involved in both the educational programme and tour of the Union Buildings which is being held in conjunction with SANAC.
Speakers will include SANAC CEO Dr Fareed Abdullah, She Conquers ambassador Ms Lerato Morulane; young entrepreneurs Mogau Mosebjadi and Siya Beyile as well as reigning Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene.
