South African Youth awards winners to visit the Union Buildings
Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe and Deputy Minister Buti Manamela will host the winners of the 2nd South African National Youth Awards at the Union Buildings.
Minister Radebe will share with the winners how the National Development Plan (NDP) focuses on youth and Deputy Manamela will outline the opportunities for youth provisioned in the National Youth Policy (NYP2020).
The NDP states that youth can take co- responsibility where government is leading to support and resource their initiatives and the NYP 2020 aims to consolidate youth initiatives that enhance the capabilities of young people to transform society and the economy.
