Transport Deputy Minister to intensify road safety awareness in KZN
The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga will embark on Road Safety Education and Awareness activations in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) starting from Thursday, 15 December 2016 in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
Ms Chikunga will interact with pedestrians, public transport users and motorists in the province.
The objective of the festive season road safety activations is to:
- Instill Road Safety ethics in all road users
- Interact with road users on a one-on-one basis
- Develop and encourage good road user attitudes and behavior
- Develop and maintain responsible road users across the country
The vision of the activations is to make an everlasting impact on all road users by appealing to their conscience to obey road rules and become responsible road users.
The details of the Deputy Minister’s road safety activations in KwaZulu-Natal are as follows:
First activation

Second activation

Venue: Mooiriver Toll Plaza, Escort in KwaZulu-Natal
