Premier Stanley Mathabatha opens Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders, 26 Apr

Official opening of Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders 2019/2020

The Premier of the Province, Mr Stanley Mathabatha will officially open the Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders in Polokwane on the 26 April 2019. Premier Mathabatha will be joined by the MEC for CoGHSTA Mr Jerry Ndou.

The Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders’ main function is to advise government and the legislature on matters related to custom, tradition and culture including developmental initiatives that have an impact on rural communities. The House was established in terms of the Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders Act, Act 5 of 2005.

This event provides the Premier with the opportunity to outline what the Provincial Government has achieved in the last financial year and also highlight the challenges thereof particularly on issues that affect Traditional Leaders and their communities.
