Minister Fikile Mbalula hosts Action Indaba on Gender Based Violence and Protection of Vulnerable Groups, 17 to 18 Aug

Police Minister, Mr Fikile Mbalula, to meet with role players in the fight against Gender Based Violence and Protection of Vulnerable Groups

The Minister of Police, Mr Fikile Mbalula, will host a two-day dialogue session together with senior members of the South African Police Service and various other stakeholders to identify and implement best practices to deal with Gender Based Violence (GBV).

The Indaba which will be hosted under the theme “Ayihlome against Gender Based Violence” will afford the Minister an opportunity to unpack his six-point plan on GBV and encourage role players to work together on initiatives that will prevent and further reduce the scourge of women and child abuse. The Indaba will run for two days, from the 17 – 18 August 2017.
