Treasury hosts OECD launch and presentation of Economic Survey of South Africa, 24 Jul

OECD Secretary-General to visit South Africa, launch the OECD Economic Survey of South Africa

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Secretary-General Angel Gurría will launch and present the latest OECD Economic Survey of South Africa. Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba will join him.

Date: 24 July 2017
Venue: National Treasury building, 40 Church Square, Pretoria. Please use the front entrance and tell reception that you are going to the Budget Council meeting room.
Time: 10:00 – 11:00

The survey discusses the policies that have underpinned the tremendous social progress made over the past two decades, as well as the structural challenges that must be overcome to ensure stronger, sustainable and more inclusive growth for all South Africans. Special chapters in the survey cover recommendations for lowering barriers to entrepreneurship and promoting small business growth and deepening regional integration within the Southern African Development Community.
