Departmental officials will be hosting and cleaning for the elderly as part of closing Women’s Month celebrations
Officials from the Northern Cape Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison will on Monday, 31 August 2015, be closing off Women’s Month celebrations by serving the elderly at Seochwareng Old Age Home in Galeshewe, Kimberley.
The aim of the project is to give cheer to the elderly women and their peers at the Old Age Home, spring clean their apartments for them, spend the day with them, serve them meals for the day and assist them with groceries donated by our staff as part of showing appreciation for their contribution in society.
Offenders at the Kimberley Department of Correctional Services will be joining us in the initiative as part of giving back to the elderly.
