North West Legislature SCOPA to meet Office of Premier and Finance Department over Departments’ Unauthorised, Irregular and Fruitless Expenditure and Consequence Management
On Thursday, 16 March 2017, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts (SCOPA) will hold a public hearing with the Office of the Premier and Department of Finance, Economy and Enterprise Development over progress reports on the provincial departments and entities’ unauthorised, irregular and fruitless expenditure and status of the implementation of consequence management for the financial year ending March 2016 in Legislature Committee Room 2 at 12h00.
The public hearing will also be attended by the Provincial Accountant General, Mr. Geo Paul, senior management of the Office of the Premier and Department of Finance, Economy and Enterprise Development and the Auditor General’s office.
