Limpopo Education launches ICT and E-Learning centres, 27 Jun

More schools to benefit from improvement on ICT and E-Learning centres

More teachers can now access ICT assistance from the eight E-Learning centres following the training programme introduced by the University of Johannesburg (UJ). Thirteen (13) employees focussing on ICT and E-Learning centres around the province received the first part of the Short Learning Programme (SLP) known as Managing and Leading Education with Digital Technologies.

Through this programme, provinces are expected to form partnership with Higher Education Institutions and adopt online model to deliver Teacher Development Programmes on curriculum challenges, encourage Centre Managers and E-learning specialists to maximally utilise the resources in Teachers Centres and use acquired skills to reach more teachers.

The MEC for Education, Mr Ishmael Kgetjepe will award the 13 employees at an event to take place as follows:

Venue: Bolivia Lodge
Date: 27 June 2017
Time: 10AM

Media houses are invited to this event. “Together we move education forward!”
