Minister Zokwana to brief media about the detection of Spodoptera Frugiperda (Fall Army Worm) for the first time in South Africa
Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister, Senzeni Zokwana will brief the media on the detection of the Fall Army Worm that has been confirmed in South Africa.
The department received a diagnostic report from the Agricultural Research Council, Plant Protection Research Institute (ARC PPRI) to confirm that the Fall Army Worm was positively identified from samples collected in the Limpopo Province.
