Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will conduct unannounced visits in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape in ahead of the upcoming Presidential Siyahlola.
The focus of the Minister’s monitoring visits in Lusikisiki will be on improving inter-governmental cooperation in fight against crime and extension of basic services in general, as well as the response to gender-based violence.
The unannounced visits are part of the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation’s (DPME) Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) programme that ensures that citizen’s experience of government frontline facilities is of quality services as envisioned in the National Development Plan (NDP).
