In commemoration of Women’s Month, the Minister of Water and Sanitation will host a National Women in Water Consultative Conference on 31 August 2015 at CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria.
The purpose of the conference is to empower women in the efficient and equitable management of scarce water resources through their involvement in decision making, developing technologies and befitting as water entrepreneurs. Delegates will also interrogate the progress made over the past 20 years, ascertain gaps and develop a roadmap for the implementation of the Women in Water Agenda.
The media is hereby invited to cover this event which will have an impact on the role played by women now and in future.
