Minister Lindiwe Zulu launches Orbit TVET College Rapid Incubator, 24 Mar

Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will launch the Orbit TVET College Rapid Incubator on Friday, 24 March 2017 in Mogwase, North West.

The Rapid Incubation Programme provides student graduates with an entrepreneurial platform to commercialise their vocational skills and move them from “job seekers to job creators”. The programme seeks to utilise the skills of TVET graduates to encourage and promote an entrepreneurship culture and provide the student incubatees with the necessary tools and techniques to create their own SMMEs, and thus contributing to economic growth and job creation in economically depressed areas.

The Rapid Incubation Programme is the first incubation programme in South Africa to offer seed-funding to the incubatees through structured pitching sessions which the incubatees can apply for.
