Transport Minister and MECs to brief media on initiative to harmonise traffic law enforcement and road safety expectations for Easter
Northern Cape: The Minister of Transport, Dipuo Peters and MECs responsible for traffic and transport across the country are to meet as Road Traffic Management Corporation shareholder committee in Kimberly on Friday 17 Febuary 2017 to review the state of roads safety in the country.
The meeting will discuss progress on the national initiative to harmonise traffic law enforcement in the country. The committee will also express its expectations on what needs to be done to reduce road fatalities in the coming Easter holiday period.
The committee will brief the media at the end of their discussion. The media briefing will take place as follows:
