Minister Derek Hanekom engages stakeholders and academics on tourism issues in Limpopo, 3 to 4 Sept

The Department of Tourism in conjunction with the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism (LEDET) and its marketing agency, the Limpopo Tourism Authority (LTA), will celebrate tourism month by hosting the following events inspired by the localised tourism month theme – “A Million New Experiences are a Sho’t Left Away”:

Minister’s business & industry breakfast event
Focus: Growing domestic tourism for a sustainable tourism economy [buy local & energy efficiency initiatives/ preserving heritage and culture]

Public Lecture
Focus: “South Africa’s Destination Competitiveness: A Driver towards a Billion Opportunities”
