Provincial road P41/1 to undergo major rehabilitation

Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport, Dr Ismail Vadi, will on Monday, 06 March 2017, officially launch the rehabilitation of P41/1 road in Nigel, Ekurhuleni.

The R15 million project, which includes the repair and resurfacing of the portion of Road P41/1 between Heidelberg and Springs, is expected to take three months.

Additional objectives of the project include B-BBEE contractors executing a substantial portion of the construction work.

Furthermore, the labour content of the work will be maximised (where possible) to enhance job creation as well as provide training to emerging contractors, local and other labourers.
