Minister Susan Shabangu launches 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, 25 Nov

Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Honourable Susan Shabangu will launch the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children Campaign on the International Day for No Violence against Women and Children at Naauwpoort village in Mahikeng, North West on the 25 November 2015. The theme for the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is: “Count Me In: Together moving a non-violent South Africa forward”.

The 16 Days of Activism is a United Nations campaign. It takes place annually from the 25th November (International Day of No Violence against Women) to the 10th December (International Human Rights Day).

Minister Shabangu; will be accompanied by the Premier of North West, Supra Mahumapelo and members of the North West Executive Council.
