Members of the media are invited to a post Bokone Bophirima Executive Council (EXCO) briefing which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 3 May 2017 at Mahikeng Hotel School, at 10h00.
The media briefing which will be addressed by Premier Supra Mahumapelo, will cover amongst other issues, the status of the Provincial Wage Bill, progress regarding implementation of the Back2Basics programme by all municipalities in the province, the refined Setsokotsane approach which resumes from May 10th, and the progress in so far as implementation of the EXCO Makgotla is concerned.
Premier Mahumapelo will immediately after the media briefing, lead a meeting with all Heads of the Provincial Departments to continue discussions on practical steps in the implementation of Radical Socio-Economic Transformation through the Villages, Townships and Small Dorpies industrial initiative in Bokone Bophirima.
Premier Mahumapelo remains adamant that the EXCO should hold a media briefing after its every sitting, this in an effort to promote accountability and access to information, while at the same time affording the media the opportunity to interact with provincial leadership.
