Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will deliver a keynote address at the launch the National Campaign called EZASE – KASI Business Fridays aiming to boost township economies nationwide.
EZASE – KASI Business Fridays will co- brand with the National Development Plan (NDP) Brand Identity to mobilise and actively engage citizens on the NDP and township economies. The brainchild of entrepreneur Siyanda Mtulu, EZASE – KASI meaning encouraging local companies (Corporate SA) and Capetonians in general, to look to the townships for their requirements as a way to 'Boost Township Economy'.
The NDP Brand Identity seeks to ensure a uniform communication approach across all spheres of government, implementing agencies and social partners championing the NDP.
Government welcomes the partnership with business and labour to rally around the NDP in ensuring that there is a collective effort in implementing programmes of the NDP.
The public is requested to define their ideal South Africa and play their part in assisting government towards achieving vision 2030 as stated in the vision statement of the NDP.
