As schools prepare to start their 2017 curriculum, MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko will visit the Diepsloot Combined School on Wednesday, 11 January 2017, as part of the Gauteng school readiness campaign.
The visit is meant to give the school morale support. MEC Mazibuko will meet the school management team to assess among others academic preparedness and availability of stationery.
An imbizo with different stakeholders will be held later in the evening at the New Creation Ministries Hall in an effort to encourage community support towards the school.
